How Long Has Top Pizza Been Around?
The Short Answer
We opened in 1968, which makes us Lethbridge’s oldest pizzeria. Founder Louis started it all, and his namesake pie — the LOUIS’ SPECIAL — still leads the menu. We’re still where we’ve always been: the corner of 11th Street and 4th Avenue South.

The Short Version of a Long Story
Louis opened Top Pizza & Spaghetti House more than five decades ago. The name says what we’ve been ever since: a pizza house and a spaghetti house under one roof. Pizza, pasta, and salads — made from fresh dough and homemade sauce, the way the kitchen learned it at the start.
What’s Stayed the Same
The corner. The name. The founder’s pizza, built his way — pepperoni, mushroom, ham, green pepper, tomato, and onion — with its own Friday tradition. And the standard: 100% mozzarella and dough made fresh daily.
Both Halves of the Name
The “& Spaghetti House” half is not decoration. Lasagnas, spaghetti with meat sauce, ravioli, and tortellini have shared the kitchen with the pizzas from the beginning, which is why family tables here order across both menus without thinking about it.
What’s New
The menu has grown with the decades — the Detroit Deep Dish squares joined in 2022, and you can now build your order online. The rest we’ve deliberately left alone.

The Rhythm of the Week
Weekday lunches run on the daily specials from 11:00 to 2:00. Friday and Saturday nights stretch an hour later than the rest of the week — and Friday has its own tradition here, the LOUIS’ SPECIAL. Sunday evenings are the short, family-supper window.

What to Expect
We build the pizza the same way we always do — same homemade sauce, same fresh dough, same toppings — with the substitute standing in for our usual 100% mozzarella. If dairy is a preference rather than an allergy, you won’t have to think twice. If you have a severe dairy allergy, weigh the cross-contact risk in a kitchen that works with cheese all day, and call us with questions.

Can I Get a Half-and-Half Pizza?

Why Half-and-Half Exists
Every table has one person who wants mushrooms and one who absolutely doesn’t. Half-and-half settles it without a second pizza: pepperoni on one side, vegetarian on the other, everyone reaches for their half.
How to Order It
- Online: open the pizza you want and use the options on the product page to set the toppings for each half.
- By phone: just tell us both halves. We’ve been taking orders that way for generations.
Combinations That Work
The numbered pan classics are a ready-made half-and-half menu. Put the Classic Pepperoni on one side and the all-vegetable Mushroom & Green Pepper on the other. The Family Pack (Sunday–Thursday)
Two medium or two large cheese pizzas with two more toppings, plus your choice of a free add-on: pizza bread, regular spaghetti, or regular lasagna with meat sauce. Want that pasta baked with cheese? A small extra covers it.
Tuesday Pasta (Dine-In & Pick-Up)
All day Tuesday, baked lasagna or spaghetti with meat sauce runs as a special for dine-in and pick-up.
